The next morning, I arrived in a luxury car, continuing my routine of putting on airs at the office.

Upon entering, Yu Chengmin was already seated. She pointedly checked her exquisite wristwatch, noting that she had arrived early rather than the assistant, Ma, being late. She looked as if she wanted to say something, yet found nothing of substance to add. It wasn't that she missed Ma dearly; she had simply grown accustomed to her "nanny" handling everything for her. From her daily schedule to the smallest details, Ma managed it all in a way that suited her temperament. His absence left her feeling slightly out of sorts.

Ma tidied the items on her desk without a word and turned to leave to start his tasks. Yu Chengmin glared at his retreating back. She felt he usually chattered away with endless nonsense, yet his silence now made her feel strangely uneasy. Unconsciously, she pressed the button on her intercom, only to find she had no idea what to say.

Instead, Ma asked from outside, "Is something wrong, Ms. Yu?"

"Nothing. If you dare to hide in the restroom again for no reason, I'll dock five days of your pay," she finally retorted.

Ma broke into a cold sweat, wondering if she had bumped her head the night before. Still, when a boss spoke to an employee like that, there didn't seem to be much room to argue.

Today was Ni Feihong’s last day at the company. After today, she would no longer be part of the organization. The person arriving to take over her duties was none other than Wan Ziguang—that man with the goatee who wore a melon-skin cap and constantly chewed on an unlit pipe. Ni Feihong felt a sense of helplessness. She knew that while Wan Ziguang had poor character, he possessed a certain degree of capability and connections. He had grown alongside the magazine *The Prettiest*, and from Yu Chengmin's perspective, bringing him back meant a seamless transition that wouldn't cause too much disruption. Ni Feihong had to admit that if she were in Yu Chengmin's shoes, she would have done the same. In that regard, Yu Chengmin was incredibly cunning and petty, but overall, she was responsible toward the company.

In Ni Feihong’s office, Wan Ziguang puffed on his pipe, smiling silently. He had made his comeback, ready to take over the mantle of "The Prettiest" from the "Devil Queen." He felt a bit smug, yet he dared not truly offend Ni Feihong. No one knew better than he did that for someone like her, changing jobs was merely a change of scenery; her status, influence, and reach remained entirely intact. Most importantly, her nominal boyfriend was a figure of terrifying power—someone no one dared to provoke.

Ni Feihong didn't give Wan Ziguang a cold shoulder, but she acted as if he didn't exist, focusing her attention on reviewing the final layout of her career at *The Prettiest*. The office fell into an awkward silence.

A moment later, Ni Feihong paused, frowning at her unresponsive computer. Looking quite the novice, she poked at the screen with her elegant fingers, tapping here and there, but to no avail.

Wan Ziguang tried to offer help in a conciliatory tone, "Is there anything you need help with, Ms. Ni?"

Ni Feihong shook her head, signaling she had no interest in his concern, and called out to Longze Meishu, "Go and get Ma Weimin."

Ma had become something of a prodigy around here; the office was a hub for gossip, and rumors of him being a computer wizard were rampant. This left Wan Ziguang feeling humiliated, though he couldn't voice his frustration.

When Ma Weimin walked in, he paused upon seeing Wan Ziguang, then turned to Ni Feihong. "Did you need me for something, Ms. Ni?"

Ni Feihong felt a flicker of awkwardness, remembering their encounter on the mountain road the previous evening. After dismissing the thought, she pointed at the computer. "I heard you’re good with these things. If you have a moment, take a look and see what’s wrong with my machine."

Ma’s brow furrowed. Without his "Sword Demon" state, it seemed he would have to settle for installing some basic security software to get by. He walked over, and Ni Feihong shifted her seat slightly to give him room to hunch over and fiddle with the machine.

Wait.

When Ma arrived, the computer was acting normally again, fully operational. Ni Feihong watched him with a blank expression, realizing he was nothing special—just compulsively right-clicking to "refresh" the desktop. Finally, was he about to install a massive suite of bloatware? She decided not to comment for now, letting him play his part.

Ma clicked the browser, and the problem finally surfaced. The computer instantly went haywire, with the browser frantically opening countless tabs and connecting to various links. Heaven knows where they led—mostly videos and images, all of them lewd, "adult" content.

Ni Feihong was so mortified she nearly collapsed. She wasn't exactly a seasoned veteran of such things. Her sexy lips parted slightly, and after a moment, she exclaimed, "Close it! Close it! What on earth are you doing?"

Ma was speechless; he couldn't close them fast enough. Every two he closed, three more would pop up.

"This isn't my doing," Ma said, sounding completely innocent.

Ni Feihong’s face turned bright red. "I know it's not you! But if you aren't going to close it, what are you doing?"

"I can't close them!" Ma said, looking frantic.

Ni Feihong couldn't even bring herself to criticize him. So much for being an expert. Finally, she just slammed the laptop shut. Looking at Ma, she said, "There. It's closed, isn't it?"

Ma replied, "It's closed for now, but you have to open it eventually. Everything has a price."

Ni Feihong shook her head violently. "No need. I'll just throw the whole thing in the toilet, won't I?"

Ma hesitated. "That wouldn't be good, would it? Don't you need your files? Besides, this is clearly a hack. Someone is targeting you. Who knows how long you've been monitored? Who knows what embarrassing things they might have on you? Shouldn't we investigate?"

Ni Feihong shook her head decisively. "My files are backed up. And there’s nothing embarrassing of mine in their hands, because I’m not an embarrassing person."

Ma asked worriedly, "What if you were ever doing something in front of the camera..."

"You think I'm like you?" Ni Feihong’s face flushed slightly. "At most, they’d only get a few normal photos of me."

Ma had nothing left to say. The thought of those lewd images and videos made Ni Feihong’s scalp crawl. After a moment, she said, "Take the computer. Help me dispose of it—do whatever you want with it."

And so, Ma had himself a laptop. It wouldn't be that easy to let it go; as her "nanny," he needed to protect her and find the culprit behind it all. After he was done, he could always sell the laptop at a second-hand market. It was worth at least ten thousand, which would recoup some of his losses.

If he could find any photos or videos of the goddess inside—even if they weren't the "mysterious" kind—it would be a nice souvenir. She truly left a deep impression on both his body and his mind.

After that brief mental excursion, Ma nodded and left with her computer. Ni Feihong opened her mouth twice to call him back, but ultimately remained silent.

Back in the office, Ma happened to run into Yu Chengmin, who was heading to the restroom. She stopped as she passed him and asked, "Where did you get that laptop?"

"It's Ni Feihong's. She asked me to handle it for her," Ma said honestly.

Yu Chengmin felt a surge of irritation. That little brat... she asked him to fix her computer, and he gave her some basic software; Ni Feihong asks him for something, and he carries her laptop like it's a treasure?

Yu Chengmin immediately put on a menacing look. "Are you planning on installing that same basic software on hers?"

Ma shook his head quickly.

Yu Chengmin thought for a moment and reached out. "Give it to me."

Ma looked horrified. "This isn't company property..."

"Are you giving it to me or not?" Yu Chengmin adopted her dominant, executive persona.

"Fine, okay." Ma handed it over with a strange expression.

"Good." Yu Chengmin sashayed toward the restroom with the laptop in hand.

Sitting on the toilet, Yu Chengmin began to wonder why on earth she had confiscated the laptop. Driven by curiosity, she opened it to investigate.

"What the..."

Yu Chengmin was stunned, staring in horror at the awkward images and videos. Unlike Ni Feihong, she didn't find the content "unbearable," and she couldn't help but sneak a few extra looks before slamming the laptop shut with a *snap*.

She took a deep breath to compose herself and muttered, "That little brat... is he trying to mess with me?"

Upon closer reflection, she couldn't find a reason to blame him. Up to this point, her overall impression of him was decent: a very talented, slightly neurotic guy.

After finishing, Yu Chengmin placed the laptop on the floor. She stood up, pulled up her pants, and completely forgot the device was still there. As she walked forward, she stepped down with a loud *crunch* right onto the computer.
