Immediately afterward, how the second pig-headed brute managed it, no one knew, but the entire factory erupted with blaring alarms.

Inside the boss’s office at that moment, a greasy, corpulent man scowled in displeasure. “What now? Setting off alarms over the smallest nonsense.”

This morning, the fast-food workers caused a commotion, triggering the alarm. Now, which store’s employees were making trouble again?

Seated across from the bloated man was a well-dressed gentleman, holding a handkerchief pressed over his nose and mouth. Upon hearing the remark, he rose and said, “Since Mr. Zhu has other business to attend to, I won’t keep you. But please don’t forget the matters we discussed earlier.”

Mr. Zhu, the corpulent man, cast a sidelong glance at him. In front of the visitor, his form morphed into that of a pig-headed humanoid, with layers of fat on his belly thick enough to form five swimming rings. “Rest assured, Mr. Duan. As long as the money arrives, I, old Zhu, will handle everything just as promised. It’s only a small fast-food joint. If I don’t supply it, it’s doomed to fail.”

The so-called Mr. Duan nodded, then turned to leave. All business was settled. He truly could not stand the boss’s odor—it wasn’t just repulsive, it reeked of a pigsty. His bodyguards quickly followed him out.

Once both had left, the pig-headed man cautiously approached Mr. Zhu. “Boss, that guy clearly despises you. Look...” he gestured toward his neck, only to be slapped hard across the face.

“Do you want to kill him? Do you think he’s some nobody? Do you want me dead?” Zhu growled.

Without concern for decorum, he grabbed a handful of some unknown meat from the table and stuffed it into his mouth, saliva dripping, his two large sharp fangs standing out prominently.

Finished eating, he wiped his mouth carelessly, smeared his greasy fingers on his clothes, reverted to his fat pig form, and sprawled onto the couch. “Just get the money. Handle what needs handling.”

Annoyed by the incessant buzzing of the alarms, he flicked his ears irritably. “When you catch those troublemakers, bring them to me. I’ll vent my anger on them directly!”

Saying that, he lazily turned over, the couch groaning under his weight, and soon the sound of loud snoring filled the room.

The pig-headed subordinate lingered behind with a gloomy expression. Despite the boss’s words, he was still dissatisfied. Earlier, he had greeted Mr. Duan, only to be scorned for his stench. He had hoped his boss would defend him, but it ended just like that.

Frowning, he left and summoned a few pig-headed henchmen to give them instructions. They nodded and hurried off.

After the briefing, the relentless alarms grated on his nerves, worsening his mood.

Let those troublemakers be cursed—he vowed to punish them severely.

Meanwhile, the troublemakers they sought—Su Man and Sun Li—hid in a corner.

Su Man had never seen so many pig-headed creatures before. To her, they all looked identical: a sea of pale flesh that made her uneasy.

Sun Li, however, could distinguish each one and even numbered them: Pig Head One, Pig Head Two...

“There they are! I’ve found them!” Pig Head Five shouted.

Soon, five pig-headed figures surrounded them.

Without a word, they lunged straight for Su Man and Sun Li’s heads, jaws snapping.

Su Man knew their strength well. Earlier, she had found a steel pipe for Sun Li to use as a weapon, but the pig-headed creatures had bitten it in half with their sharp teeth.

She slung knives, taking down three of them, while Sun Li pummeled the other two with powerful fists. For the moment, they were safe.

Yet the commotion attracted more pig-headed beasts. This would become an endless battle, and outnumbered as they were, their energy would soon be depleted.

Glancing around the factory layout and seeing the ever-growing crowd of snarling pig heads, Su Man urged Sun Li to find a safer, higher place to hide.

“I’m fine. I can still fight,” Sun Li shook his head repeatedly. “I’m not afraid to die.”

Su Man had worried that her actions might put him in danger, but hearing him say that, she held back her objections and decisively grabbed the car keys.

“Drive around outside. If you see any of those pig heads, ram them. If you can’t, herd them back inside this building.”

Sun Li’s eyes lit up at the mention of the car. He cheered and slammed the gas pedal, speeding off.

Once Sun Li was gone, Su Man dashed swiftly along the path he cleared, slashing with her knife at numerous barrels filled with unknown liquids scattered around the factory.

Within moments, the floor was slick with water, causing many pig-headed creatures to slip and fall.

Like a nimble monkey, Su Man darted through the throng, finally reaching the electrical panel. She yanked two wires free and plunged them into the puddle.

Instantly, the factory was filled with crackling sparks and agonized pig-like screams. Though she had no idea how powerful the electricity was, in just one second she collapsed stiffly. Her last sensation was the smell of burning pork roasting.

She had feared being resurrected elsewhere, but the good news was she revived right where she fell. The bad news was the electricity had not shut off and continued crackling. As she opened her eyes and took in the surroundings, she promptly shut them again.

Perhaps cursed by fate, she died and revived five times consecutively before finally escaping that hellish place, reappearing inside the car.

Sun Li nearly startled out of his skin seeing her suddenly appear. He slammed the gas, nearly driving them back into the factory. Quick reflexes from Su Man twisted the steering wheel, narrowly avoiding the door as they sped away in another direction.

Sun Li pressed the pedal to the floor, and both exhaled deeply inside the car, grateful to have survived.

Seeing the terror in Sun Li’s eyes, Su Man offered a brief explanation: “There’s electricity inside that building. If you go in, you die.”

Sun Li’s eyes immediately brightened. “I know! That one!” He pointed excitedly to a massive electrical panel nearby that still sparked. “When I came out earlier, I saw it trip. I purposely jammed a big piece of wood under it! Really dangerous!”

Sure enough, a charred wooden stick was wedged beneath the panel.

His enthusiasm unabated, he added, “Lots of pig heads tried to pull it down, but I stopped them. I rammed one after another…”

Realizing he might be getting carried away, he sheepishly glanced at Su Man, seeking praise. “Pretty impressive, right?”

Su Man deadpanned applause. He was indeed quite formidable.

Suddenly, a loud “thud” shook the car violently. Su Man whipped her head around and saw that while they had been talking, they had been completely surrounded.

The pig-headed creatures were trying to overturn their car.
