Chapter 133: How About You Take Off Your Pants?
At noon in the golden autumn, the city was bathed in a hazy layer of sunlight.
Lu Qingyue half-awoke to the sound of her alarm clock, instinctively opening her eyes while reaching for her phone.
A thin veil of sheer curtains hung by the window, letting in a warm scattering of dappled light.
Squinting to adjust to the brightness, Lu Qingyue then heard the bathroom door slide open with a sharp sound.
The scent of mint shower gel instantly filled the entire room.
Cheng Xingye emerged from the bathroom, wearing only a pair of black lounge pants, water still dripping from his upper body as he towel-dried his hair.
His skin was pale and cool, muscles faintly defined beneath, his movements smooth and clean, exuding the solid strength unique to a man.
Lu Qingyue’s heart inexplicably skipped a beat as she stared fixedly at his abdomen for a long moment, then raised her eyes in confusion to meet his gaze.
“Why are you showering at noon?”
Cheng Xingye paused mid-towel-dry, looking at her with a helpless expression and lowered eyes.
“Well, why do you think?”
It was because she hadn’t been sleeping soundly, stubbornly crawling into his arms.
Once or twice was manageable; he could distract himself by scrolling through WeChat Moments. But the last time, she had gone too far—half-asleep, she even tangled her legs around his waist.
At that moment, Cheng Xingye almost faltered.
Damn it! Was this little troublemaker doing it on purpose?
He struggled to restrain himself, heart pounding fiercely, and his palm couldn’t help but squeeze her waist hard.
A girl’s waist was so slender it could almost be grasped with one hand; when he pressed firmly, she emitted a muffled, displeased sound.
Her soft, delicate moan only fueled the burning desire within him.
Cheng Xingye’s body flushed with heat, his throat tightened, but in the end, he refrained from touching her further.
He closed his eyes, suppressed the restless heat inside, planted a hard kiss on her neck, then swung his legs off the bed and went to the bathroom to finish himself off.
Yet when he came out, that little firestarter—completely oblivious—innocently asked why he was showering in broad daylight.
Cheng Xingye snorted coldly, tossed the towel aside, grabbed his T-shirt from the bedside, and began to dress.
Lu Qingyue sat on the bed hugging her knees, watching him. Suddenly, she asked out of the blue,
“Didn’t you say once it was official, you’d agree to one condition for me?”
The man paused while dressing and met her gaze.
Of course, he hadn’t forgotten what he promised.
It was a bit embarrassing to say out loud—him, a grown man, being kept in mind by a young girl like this—it would probably be laughed at by his rowdy friends.
The room was quiet; Hoshino wasn’t causing a ruckus today and was happily playing alone on the balcony.
Cheng Xingye subtly cleared his throat, his voice a little hoarse but deliberately formal as he asked,
“You want to fulfill it now? Then there won’t be another chance later.”
Lu Qingyue didn’t care about the future.
She was always a hedonist, living in the moment and savoring the now.
Hearing him say that, she immediately sat up on the bed, hooking her hand around the waistband of his pants, pulling him toward her.
Cheng Xingye was tall and strong, not someone she could easily tug around.
But as he half-resisted, his body honestly moved closer to her.
Finally, he leaned in, hands braced on the bed, encircling her within his arms.
Lu Qingyue tilted her head back, staring unblinkingly into his eyes for a while, making sure he wouldn’t resist, then reached out to untie the drawstring of his pants.
Today he wore loose lounge pants, the waistband tied loosely—one tug and the strings came undone.
Cheng Xingye knew what she intended, but he didn’t stop her; instead, he looked at her with amused helplessness and lazily let her have her way.
With the drawstring undone, it looked like this little troublemaker was about to succeed.
Suddenly, Cheng Xingye grabbed her wrist, his voice deep and husky as he interrupted,
“Forget it. Let’s do it next time.”
It was broad daylight—too embarrassing.
Seeing her chance slip away, Lu Qingyue protested,
“Why wait until next time?”
Cheng Xingye released her hand and propped himself up on the edge of the bed, smiling as he reminded,
“You’re going to be late for class.”
His afternoon class was at 3:30, and it was already three o’clock. If he didn’t get her there soon, they’d be late.
But before he could straighten up, Lu Qingyue hooked her arm around his neck again.
“Just ask for leave,” she said confidently, without a shred of guilt.
Monday afternoons were a dull elective she usually skipped.
Cheng Xingye: “...”
Actually, the moment was already set; if he sent her away now, he wouldn’t be able to keep control.
Hearing her, his eyes burned as they fixed on hers.
Lu Qingyue, fearless and bold, met his gaze head-on with a teasing glint, waiting for his response.
They stared at each other for a few seconds, letting the slightly humid, straightforward tension linger in the air.
Cheng Xingye knew he had lost.
From the start, he never stood a chance with this sly, clever girl.
After a moment’s hesitation, he suddenly cupped the back of her head and kissed her deeply.
Lu Qingyue was caught off guard, instinctively leaning backward to lie down.
Cheng Xingye pressed down, pinning her to the bed, kissing her thoroughly.
His entire body burned—ears hot, neck on fire, chest aflame as if a fire roared within.
And there was that little troublemaker adding fuel to the flames.
Lu Qingyue felt warm too.
Trapped beneath him in the soft silk quilt, unable to move, she felt a fierce yet comforting heat, as if held in his arms was pure love and security.
Sunlight hung on the sheer curtains, gently swaying in the breeze.
The clock on the wall ticked softly, each tick seeming to build the moment’s atmosphere.
Lu Qingyue was breathless from his kisses, lips tingling and itching, reluctant to part.
They kissed for an unknown length of time before Cheng Xingye reluctantly stopped, lightly biting her lower lip.
Both were breathless, their heated breaths lingering, soft and ambiguous in the air.
Nestled in his embrace, Lu Qingyue caught her breath and placed her small hand on his chest.
Cheng Xingye, a lifelong athlete, had a tough, solid chest, nothing like her soft, yielding flesh.
Taking advantage of Cheng Xingye’s satisfied mood, Lu Qingyue couldn’t resist running her hands over his muscles.
Cheng Xingye leaned lazily against the headboard, looking down at her with a mix of helplessness and annoyance.
He hadn’t built that physique to be her plaything.
Yet he knew very well this mischievous girl was at the age of intense curiosity about the opposite sex’s body.
If he forbade her, she’d probably just learn a bunch of nonsense online.
Better he taught her himself.
But no matter how fun a man’s upper body was, it wasn’t very practical.
Soon Lu Qingyue grew bored of his chest muscles, her fingers restlessly wandering downward a few inches.
His abs were solid, sculpted with shallow grooves outlining a few thin muscle groups—not overly bulky, just clean and strong.
Lu Qingyue, always eager to make the most of an advantage, and at such an innocent age, was wildly curious about what lay beneath a man’s sweatpants.
With a mischievous gleam, she cunningly proposed,
“It’s pretty hot today. How about you take off your pants?”
Cheng Xingye: “???”
Cheng Xingye: “....”
