Chapter 25: Thunderbolt Fist of Death
Yuanbo’s speed was simply astonishing. There were thousands of eyes here, yet not one could discern how he departed. Even the Master of the Martial Hall wore a bewildered expression.
“When did he get up there?”
“Wasn’t he just below?”
“To cover that distance and appear before Qin Feiyang in the blink of an eye—could he be a ghost?”
The place fell silent as death. Every face was filled with confusion and shock.
For five years, Yuanbo had been a frequent visitor to Iron Ox Town, so most people knew him to some extent. In everyone’s impression, he was just an ordinary old man, always smiling and letting idle gossip pass him by.
Yet, no one could have imagined that this seemingly meek elder would, without anyone noticing, appear before Qin Feiyang and strike a heavy blow against the third Hall Master of the Pill Hall. It was simply unbelievable!
Especially the head of the Lin family—his eyes nearly popped out, for he knew Yuanbo better than anyone. He was absolutely certain Yuanbo was nothing more than an ordinary person. But now, how could he explain the facts before him?
“Impossible…”
“This must be a dream…”
Standing atop the peak, Ma Hongmei murmured to herself, her gaze vacant. The strength Yuanbo displayed was a shock she could barely accept.
Yet, despite being the focus of every eye, Yuanbo remained utterly calm.
Qin Feiyang did not pause either; stepping past the third Hall Master, he charged straight toward the summit without so much as a backward glance. His eyes held only Ma Hongmei.
The third Hall Master slowly stood, turned to glance at Qin Feiyang, then fixed his gaze on Yuanbo and asked, “Who are you?”
Yuanbo did not reply. He did not even spare him a glance. Wherever Qin Feiyang went, his eyes followed, as if in his world, only Qin Feiyang mattered.
Boom!
Qin Feiyang ascended the summit in a single stride. Without a word, he launched a fist at Ma Hongmei!
The wind of his punch cracked like thunder, whipping up a fierce gale.
“Little brat, courting death!”
Ma Hongmei snapped back to her senses, anger flaring. With a fierce shout, she swung her palm, meeting Qin Feiyang’s fist.
Bang!
Thud, thud...
Both retreated several steps, blood trickling from the corners of their mouths.
“How can this be?” Ma Hongmei exclaimed in shock.
The third Hall Master, the Martial Hall Master, the Lin family head, and the Zhao family head were all dumbstruck. Even Lin Baili lowered his hands, his gaze turning sharp.
The others wore even more exaggerated expressions. Their mouths were agape, as wide as eggs.
“Ma Hongmei, your time has come!” Qin Feiyang steadied himself, then stomp his right foot, charging at Ma Hongmei like a raging bull, his momentum unstoppable.
“His strength actually matches mine?” Ma Hongmei still could not accept the reality.
“I don’t believe it!”
Suddenly, she roared and engaged with all her might!
Bang, bang, bang!
The two fought fiercely, fists and feet colliding in deafening explosions.
“They’re evenly matched?”
“When did Qin Feiyang become so strong?”
“Elder Ma is a One-Star Martial Master—could Qin Feiyang be one too?”
Everyone present was filled with doubt and amazement.
“Little brat, surrender your life!”
Ma Hongmei suddenly let out a fierce howl, a surge of true energy erupting from her palm, its terrifying force rolling out in all directions!
“With your skill? Not enough!” Qin Feiyang’s hair bristled, his eyes sharp as knives, true energy likewise surging from his palm.
Boom!
Their palms clashed, both sent flying once more.
“True energy!”
“He really is a One-Star Martial Master!”
“But why did he appear so sickly before?”
“He must have been hiding his strength all along!”
The crowd erupted in commotion.
The Lin family head’s expression was more vivid than anyone’s.
“This good-for-nothing is actually a One-Star Martial Artist…”
“His talent surpasses Yiyi’s…”
“Why didn’t he tell me sooner…”
Indeed, regret began to gnaw at him. Had he known Qin Feiyang’s talent was so monstrous, he would never have acted as he did!
On the summit, Qin Feiyang steadied himself, wiped the blood from his lips, and looked up at Ma Hongmei with a cold sneer. “Are you puzzled as to how the ant you could bully at will just five days ago has now become a One-Star Martial Master?”
Ma Hongmei did not answer, but her dark expression spoke volumes.
“Thirty years east of the river, thirty years west,” Qin Feiyang continued, “but I, Qin Feiyang, need not thirty years—just five days are enough to trample you beneath my feet!”
In that moment, Qin Feiyang seemed to return to his self from five years ago, his confidence, dominance, and wildness on full display.
“So what if you’re a One-Star Martial Master?” Ma Hongmei’s eyes glinted with murderous intent. “I can still kill you!”
She strode up to Qin Feiyang, raising her arm, fingers curled, true energy swirling at her fingertips like eagle talons, radiating a formidable aura.
“Eagle Talon!”
With a fierce shout, she lunged for Qin Feiyang’s head!
“Martial technique!”
Seeing this, Qin Feiyang’s pupils contracted, and he retreated without hesitation.
But Ma Hongmei still managed to seize his arm.
Crack!
Her five fingers, as hard as steel needles, easily pierced Qin Feiyang’s skin, sinking into his flesh.
Then, with a cold smile, Ma Hongmei yanked hard, ripping a chunk of flesh from his arm.
Blood gushed forth!
Ma Hongmei retreated three yards, tossing the bloody flesh aside with a sneer. “Qin Feiyang, do you see? This is the gap between us. I have mastered martial techniques—killing you is effortless. If it weren’t for Qin Yuan’s presence, you’d already be dead. Understand?”
Qin Feiyang clutched his arm, staring at Ma Hongmei—not only unafraid, but with a faint hint of ridicule in his eyes.
Yuanbo spoke calmly, “Ma Hongmei, you needn’t worry about me. If you have the ability, even if you kill Feiyang, I won’t interfere.”
“Really?” Ma Hongmei asked, uncertain.
“Of course.” Yuanbo nodded. If one looked closely, however, a trace of disdain could be seen in his eyes.
After becoming a Martial Master, one can train in martial techniques, which greatly enhance overall combat ability. Martial techniques are ranked: basic, intermediate, advanced, and perfect. The higher the rank, the greater the power.
As a prince of the Great Qin Empire, would Qin Feiyang lack martial techniques? Clearly not! In his mind, there were at least a hundred methods for cultivating martial techniques—and all of them perfect!
Back then, Qin Feiyang’s identity was exalted, his background immense, adored by all. Other than perfect martial techniques, nothing else caught his interest.
It was no exaggeration: he was a walking treasury of martial arts.
Moreover, five years ago, he had already mastered several techniques to perfection. Though his cultivation was crippled over the years, the techniques etched in his memory remained as sharp as ever.
Thus, Yuanbo had absolute confidence in Qin Feiyang.
But Ma Hongmei knew none of this. Hearing Yuanbo’s words, her heart soared with joy.
Yuanbo was the only one she feared. As for Qin Feiyang, he barely registered in her mind.
“Haha...”
“Qin Feiyang, prepare yourself!”
Laughing loudly, she attacked with both hands, each transformed into eagle talons, launching a furious assault.
Qin Feiyang stood motionless, locking eyes with her. But his right hand slowly clenched into a fist.
“They’re both One-Star Martial Masters—purely in terms of strength, they’re evenly matched.”
“That’s right. If Ma Hongmei didn’t have martial techniques, Qin Feiyang would win—he’s ruthless enough!”
“Exactly. Anyone else would have screamed after losing a chunk of flesh, but he didn’t even frown.”
“This kind of terrifying endurance—I’ve never seen anything like it.”
“The outcome is already decided.”
Whispered discussions rippled through the crowd.
Hearing these murmurs, the Lin family head couldn’t help but sneer. Many others averted their gaze, unwilling to witness the impending bloody scene.
“He’s moving!”
Just then, someone cried out in surprise.
Those who had just looked away immediately glanced back, their faces filled with doubt.
Qin Feiyang was now hunched over, body taut, right fist clenched, radiating the aura of a rampaging bull, an astonishing momentum swirling around him!
Whoosh!
Suddenly, he shot forward like an arrow from a drawn bow!
Violent energy streamed from his body.
Seeing this, Ma Hongmei’s pupils contracted.
Now, Qin Feiyang made her feel a powerful threat—even a hint of fear!
“I have mastered martial techniques—what’s there to fear?”
She lunged, both hands reaching for Qin Feiyang’s head.
In the blink of an eye, they collided!
“Die!”
Ma Hongmei shouted, a cruel smile flickering in her eyes.
“Thunderbolt Killing Fist!”
At the same time, Qin Feiyang bellowed, his voice echoing like a dragon’s roar and a tiger’s howl, shaking the air!
His clenched fist shot out like lightning!
True energy blazed brilliantly!
Bang!
His fist struck Ma Hongmei’s chest.
Crack!
Bones shattered instantly!
Her chest caved in.
Pfft!
Ma Hongmei spat out a mouthful of blood, flying out like a meteor and crashing heavily ten meters away.
“Aaah…”
A scream like a slaughtered pig echoed in all directions.
Everyone watching was stunned.
He had mastered martial techniques as well!
And from the looks of it, his Thunderbolt Killing Fist was of a higher rank than Ma Hongmei’s Eagle Talon!
“How is this possible?”
“How could he possess martial techniques?”
“How much has he been hiding?”
The Lin family head muttered, nearly sick with regret.
If only he’d treated Qin Feiyang better…
If only he hadn’t forcibly separated Yiyi and Qin Feiyang…
Now, with their relationship, if he asked for this Thunderbolt Killing Fist, Qin Feiyang would surely have obliged.
Likewise, the Martial Hall Master, Zhao family head, and third Hall Master were overwhelmed with shock.
A fifteen-year-old One-Star Martial Master, who had also mastered a powerful martial technique.
How could he be called a good-for-nothing?
He was truly a genius unseen in a hundred years!
