If it weren't for "Azure Snow," Qin Feiyang would never have dared to entertain such a wild idea.

Black Demon Village had two martial masters.

A martial master possessed true qi. Even a first-star master could wield tens of thousands of pounds of force with the flick of a wrist. With only his own strength and the Wolf King's, it would be suicide to challenge them!

Yet the keen edge "Azure Snow" had displayed before gave him absolute confidence. As long as they struck unexpectedly, caught the martial masters off guard, killing them was no mere fantasy.

The Wolf King stared at him in shock. Seeing the determination in Qin Feiyang's eyes, it hesitated for a moment before nodding heavily. If they were to go mad, then let them be utterly mad this once!

Qin Feiyang turned to look at the forest behind him. In the distance lay a mountain range, winding for thousands of meters.

His gaze flickered as he took out the trap map and studied it carefully.

"The area around Black Demon Village, within five hundred meters, is riddled with traps..."

"If we fight a guerrilla war here, it feels a bit restrictive..."

"It seems I must lure them into the mountains and defeat them one by one..."

"Even if I can't annihilate you all tonight, I'll bleed you dry!"

Qin Feiyang muttered, cold light flashing in his eyes. He turned to the Wolf King and said, "Howl once and lure them over."

A resounding wolf howl echoed instantly.

"It's a wolf!"

"The sound came from behind the settlement!"

"That wolf is provoking us!"

The group fleeing through the sea of flames stopped, turned, and stared darkly at the rear of the village, murderous intent filling their eyes.

"Don't stop, get out first!" shouted the elder in black. With a sweeping gesture of his aged hand, true qi surged like a dragon, splitting the flames ahead, and he led the group swiftly out.

Still, more than a dozen perished in the inferno.

"Flank them! Alive or dead, bring me their bodies!" barked the old man.

Only fifty or so survived.

Upon hearing his command, they split into two teams, skirted the flames, and charged toward the rear of the village, brimming with murderous rage.

"Retreat," Qin Feiyang whispered, and with the Wolf King, easily bypassed the traps, heading for the mountains.

"There they are! After them!"

The villagers of Black Demon drew their own trap maps and pursued.

The old man in black stood atop a small hill, watching Qin Feiyang's retreating figure, brow furrowed.

"Why does he seem so familiar?" he murmured.

Boom!

The burly chieftain cleaved through the fire and joined the old man, gazing at Qin Feiyang and the Wolf King.

"Is it them?"

"Yes. And they're provoking us again," sneered the elder.

"Provoking us? How reckless. Wait—how do they know where the traps are?" The burly chief frowned.

Whenever they approached a trap, the man and the wolf deftly avoided it, as if they knew the terrain intimately.

"If I'm not mistaken, those two sentries have already been killed, and the trap map must've fallen into their hands. But that doesn't matter anymore," the elder said with a cold smile. "Chieftain, did we lose any treasures?"

"They're all here. Luckily I arrived in time, or else everything would've burned," the chief patted the pouch on his waist.

The old man glanced at the pouch and smirked, "Since they've started this provocation, let's grant their wish. Go!"

The two strode forward, murderous intent thick as fog, chasing after Qin Feiyang and the Wolf King.

At this moment—

Qin Feiyang and the Wolf King had left the trap-strewn area and turned to look at their pursuers.

"If you're brave enough, keep chasing," Qin Feiyang laughed.

"Awroo!" The Wolf King howled, full of provocation.

"If you're brave enough, stop running!" a short, middle-aged man shouted angrily.

"Hurry up, don't keep me waiting," Qin Feiyang teased, then raced toward the mountains with the Wolf King.

"Counting the chieftain and the old man, there are fifty-three in total."

"White-eyed wolf, looks like we're going to slaughter tonight!"

"Awwooo!"

Man and wolf exchanged a glance and vanished into the mountains.

Moments later.

The Black Demon villagers entered the mountains, standing atop a vantage point, scanning the dense forest ahead.

"Where are they?"

The two leaders arrived, frowning.

"Gone."

"Probably hiding, preparing to play guerrilla games with us."

"Chieftain, that boy seems familiar..."

"I remember now. He's Qin Feiyang, the one Elder Ma from the Pill Hall ordered killed."

"But didn't we send people to kill him?"

"Did they fail?"

The crowd was full of suspicion.

The old man said, "They must have failed. Otherwise, he wouldn't be here. Looks like he's come for revenge."

"Hmph. If he's here, he won't leave alive. Find them! Even if we have to turn these mountains upside down, drag them out!" The chief said coldly, murderous intent radiating.

"Move out!"

Fifty-one men, like hungry wolves descending the mountain, entered the forest in groups, beginning a carpet search.

Moments later.

Two middle-aged men searched a small grove.

"What do you think Qin Feiyang is capable of, to dare burn our Black Demon Village?"

"I'm puzzled, too. Doesn't he realize every member of Black Demon Village is a killer feared by all?"

As they searched, they conversed.

Suddenly—

Qin Feiyang leapt down from a tree, "Azure Snow" gleaming in his hand, and plunged it straight into one man's skull!

A scream. Death on the spot.

His companion was startled, turned, and saw Qin Feiyang's cold smile.

"Qin Feiyang is here!" he shouted, and punched at Qin Feiyang.

Crash!

Dry leaves and twigs nearby exploded upward.

The Wolf King lunged, ferocious. It bit the man's ankle and yanked hard. Off guard, the man cried out and fell.

Qin Feiyang drove "Azure Snow" into the back of his head!

No suspense.

Blood splattered everywhere.

"Good teamwork," Qin Feiyang wiped the blood from his face and grinned at the Wolf King.

"Awwooo!" The Wolf King growled, exhilarated.

"Move!"

Pulling out "Azure Snow," man and wolf vanished again.

Moments later.

Thud, thud...

With a rush of footsteps, three burly, murderous men arrived, staring at the two corpses, faces dark as water.

"Ah!"

Just then—

Another pair of agonized screams echoed nearby.

The three exchanged glances and hurried over, finding two more corpses. As for Qin Feiyang and the Wolf King, not a trace.

"They were all seven-star and eight-star martial artists!"

"Elder Ma said Qin Feiyang was a useless cripple who couldn't train, and the white wolf was only as strong as a six-star martial artist. How did they do it?"

"Look, neat wounds on their heads and chests—looks like a dagger did it."

"Seems Qin Feiyang has a terrifying weapon!"

The three scanned the surroundings, greed shining in their eyes.

But they failed to notice the dry leaves beneath the corpses stirring.

A hand clutching a dagger suddenly emerged, slicing through their Achilles tendons like lightning!

Thud, thud, thud!

"Ah!"

All three collapsed, screaming in agony.

Blood spurted like fountains.

Bang! Crash!

The two corpses were hurled away by a powerful force. Qin Feiyang and the Wolf King burst from beneath the leaves, attacking!

The Wolf King bit through one man's throat.

Qin Feiyang instantly slashed another's.

"Spare me..." the third pleaded, pale with terror.

But Qin Feiyang showed no mercy. With a swift stroke of "Azure Snow," he cut the man's throat.

"Still coveting 'Azure Snow'? How foolish!"

Qin Feiyang sneered and, with the Wolf King, quickly departed in search of their next prey.
