Chapter 069 Seduction
Hearing Li Huan’s words, Sun Feifei’s cheeks flushed red. Suddenly, something occurred to her; she raised her left hand and extended a middle finger toward Li Huan. “You know perfectly well who was taking liberties that night. I haven’t even settled accounts with you yet—letting you take advantage of me for nothing!”
“I didn’t!” Li Huan tried to protest, but as he thought about it, he realized he truly had lost control that night. If it hadn’t been for Sun Feifei’s period, it was likely things between them would have gone much further.
Awkward and at a loss for words, Li Huan didn’t know how to continue. Sun Feifei wasn’t much better off; she’d only mentioned that night’s incident out of desperation, not expecting that bringing it up would fill the air with such awkwardness. Yet, beneath the embarrassment, a subtle hint of intimacy lingered, quickening her heartbeat and making it impossible to meet Li Huan’s gaze.
“Hurry and drive!” Seeing Li Huan standing there, face flushed, as if wanting to apologize but not knowing how, Sun Feifei cast a quick sidelong glance at him. Her heart swelled with secret triumph—he was still too inexperienced to spar with a senior like her!
Li Huan shook his head, trying to banish the memories of that night. Otherwise, he’d keep picturing Sun Feifei’s pale, ample chest, and might trip over his own feet, distracted by that proud, alluring presence.
He fetched the car, and Sun Feifei checked their surroundings. Seeing no one was watching, she vaulted nimbly into the vehicle, her skirt flaring up as she landed in the seat, the movement so swift and bold that Li Huan nearly gawked in surprise.
“Dear junior, did you see anything you shouldn’t have just now?” Sun Feifei tugged at her skirt, trying to cover up, but the tight, short riding dress only accentuated the shapely curves of her legs, stirring a primal urge in anyone watching.
This woman seemed born to bewitch; every gesture, every word was laced with flirtation, as if teasing an innocent younger brother. Li Huan never considered himself particularly pure, and he could be moved by a beautiful woman or tempted by a seductive one. But whenever he saw Sun Feifei, some wild emotion inside him grew uncontrollably—a purely physical longing that never ceased.
Li Huan did not answer. As the car merged onto the main road and he began to speed up, he thought back to how he’d learned to drive in high school. His skills were solid, with no signs of a novice’s nervousness. Catching up with the Jaguar ahead, he accelerated, and after about half an hour, the two cars arrived at an open area in the suburbs. Not far ahead stood a towering sign—their destination, the Zhonghai Equestrian Club.
After parking, the three rode an electric cart to the racecourse. Soon, a manager approached, greeting Li Huan and Sun Feifei with enthusiastic self-introductions.
After a few polite exchanges, the manager turned to Jin Jiangqun, his smile deepening. “Mr. Jin, your horse is ready. I’ll personally select the best mounts for your friends here as well.”
“Alright. We’ll go change first,” Jin Jiangqun replied with a nod, offering no extra pleasantries, as if the manager wasn’t particularly important in his eyes.
As a senior member, Jin Jiangqun had his own private changing and lounge area. Though it was Li Huan and Sun Feifei’s first visit, they were soon provided with professional riding attire.
The Zhonghai Equestrian Club boasted a world-class competition arena, having hosted numerous international events. Members enjoyed the highest level of service. Sun Feifei had come a few times with friends, but her riding skill was average; she’d only ever trotted around for fun and had never dared attempt the competitive side of the sport.
Li Huan emerged from the changing room feeling somewhat awkward. He was tall, and the snug white riding breeches—made of four-way stretch fabric—fit comfortably, but seeing the way they accentuated his muscular thighs and the prominent bulge below, he felt embarrassed.
However, the riding boots lent him a noble, elegant air. Paired with the dark jacket and protective helmet, he cut a striking figure. This style was distinct from the sharp suit-and-tie look of urban professionals, leaning instead toward aristocratic leisure, instantly elevating one’s demeanor.
When Li Huan came out, Jin Jiangqun was already dressed and standing by the iron railings, watching the magnificent horses gallop across the plain, kicking up clouds of dust. The sight stirred a sense of grandeur in the heart.
Jin Jiangqun, with his flawless appearance and natural grace, looked every inch the professional equestrian, ready for the arena. Even Li Huan couldn’t help but steal a few admiring glances.
“Shall we have a race?” Jin Jiangqun smiled at Li Huan, his eyes gleaming with excitement, as if this manly sport was his true passion.
Before Li Huan could reply, Jin Jiangqun’s gaze lit up and shifted past him, then he strode quickly in that direction.
“Feifei, you look absolutely stunning. I picked this outfit just for you—it suits you perfectly.” Jin Jiangqun was the picture of thoughtful consideration, though beneath his handsome exterior, who knew how much sincerity lay hidden?
“Thank you,” Sun Feifei replied calmly, showing no particular excitement. She was confident in her looks and figure; any outfit looked good on her, so it wasn’t Jin Jiangqun’s careful selection that made her stand out.
Li Huan glanced over and couldn’t help but widen his eyes. Previously, Sun Feifei’s tailored business suit had been seductive enough, with her smooth, fair legs constantly drawing attention. But now, she exuded a heroic and spirited aura.
Her ponytail was tied high, the dark jacket hugging her full curves, and below, the white breeches tucked into her boots outlined the slender lines of her long, taut legs—so perfectly together that not a sliver of space was visible between them.
“Well?” Sun Feifei bypassed Jin Jiangqun and walked straight to Li Huan, giving a little twirl and looking at him expectantly, waiting for his compliment.
“Very sexy,” Li Huan murmured after a moment’s hesitation, leaning closer to her ear. It was the only word that truly fit.
“Vulgar!” Sun Feifei shot him a withering look, unimpressed by his lack of creativity. Wasn’t she always sexy? Couldn’t he at least try a different word? What an unimaginative man.
Jin Jiangqun watched their flirtatious exchange but could do nothing. Looking up, he spotted three people approaching and waved. The trio paused, then hurried over.
Li Huan and Sun Feifei both turned. The newcomers—two men and a woman—appeared to be about twenty-four or twenty-five, their polished bearing marking them as scions of wealthy families like Jin Jiangqun himself. They greeted Jin Jiangqun warmly, and naturally, Sun Feifei’s beauty drew their attention. As for Li Huan, the two young men barely acknowledged him—these must be the friends Jin Jiangqun had mentioned.
Li Huan didn’t mind; he had no desire to engage with them anyway. The young woman, however, glanced at him several times, then approached with a smile, introducing herself.
Her name was Li Lu. She was quite attractive, though compared to the radiant Sun Feifei, she fell short in both looks and presence. But she didn’t seem to mind. After a brief greeting to Sun Feifei, she struck up a conversation with Li Huan, as if they were old acquaintances.
Li Huan glanced at Sun Feifei, a bit embarrassed, but he couldn’t ignore the girl; to do so would have been impolite.
What Li Huan didn’t know was that while he was changing, Jin Jiangqun had already called his friends. The girl was intentionally flirting with Li Huan, hoping to create an ambiguous atmosphere and provoke Sun Feifei into distancing herself from him, thereby giving Jin Jiangqun a chance to win her over.
Unfortunately, Jin Jiangqun underestimated Sun Feifei’s intelligence. At first, she thought it normal, but soon noticed the girl, Li Lu, was deliberately pressing her chest against Li Huan’s arm and occasionally casting challenging glances her way. Sun Feifei quickly saw through the ploy, but remained gracious, not exposing the little trick. After all, she suffered no loss—if anything, it was Li Huan who benefited, enjoying the attention.
After chatting with his two male friends for a bit, Jin Jiangqun looked back to see Li Huan entangled with Li Lu and Sun Feifei’s indifferent expression. He felt a surge of satisfaction.
No one knew what Jin Jiangqun had said to the two men, but they soon turned to Li Huan with fresh smiles, coming over to greet him.
