On Earth, within a town base, in a relatively secluded corner room, several figures gathered around a light screen projected from a jade round mirror.

“Do you think they will accept us?” a woman’s voice asked.

“I think so! After all, we’ve been living here just fine, and no one’s been hunting us down!” replied a voice that sounded like a child.

“I trust my brothers, but he taught me something—‘Those who are not of our kind must have different hearts!’ If we’re just a handful of individuals, maybe it’ll work, but once our numbers grow into a full-fledged race, then it’s dangerous,” said the tallest figure in the room.

“Ah! How could it be like this?” the first voice exclaimed.

“All right, all right, the main thing now is to be prepared! Ready to fight our way out if we must!” said a figure by the door. The others fell silent. Though they still hoped for goodwill from humans, none were naïve enough to trust them absolutely.

“I really don’t want to leave here and go back to the wild encampments—the food isn’t nearly as good there!” the childlike voice lamented.

“Stop thinking about food. Be careful or you’ll end up as a meal for humans!” croaked a deep, raspy voice.

“Ah! But—they said themselves they don’t eat us!” protested the childlike voice, now trembling and full of fear.

“Heh, don’t forget what our lives were like before we evolved. Let me ask you all—who among us wasn’t once part of the human menu? Even at the start of our evolution, how many of us escaped being killed by humans? Now they treat us as people, but don’t you know plenty of humans are into non-human forms? What, do you want to be their pets?” The voice grew shrill, nearly cracking, as though suppressing a deep-seated anger.

“All right, Taichi, we know what you’ve been through, but you also know how you used to be—not just humans, even we couldn’t accept your former self! But look at us now, isn’t it much better?” the woman’s voice consoled.

“Hmph! But that doesn’t mean I have to sacrifice my happiness for life!” Taichi retorted, breaking into tears.

“Calm down, everyone. Let’s keep watching. The human leadership knows about us now, and some places have officially accepted us. Look at these comments—aren’t plenty of people supporting us?” said a deep, weighty male voice.

“Uncle Turtle, we’re here because we trust you, but that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t have any backup plan!” the figure leaning by the door replied.

“My brothers…” The tall figure began, but Old Turtle pointed a finger to silence him.

“The results are in.”

“So, we can accept the beastkin as formal members of Earth's civilization.” A scarlet comment scrolled past, and Sun Meng nodded.

“Then I have no objection, but this decision must be implemented quickly. Without internal unity, Earth’s civilization cannot forge its core,” Sun Meng said.

This was the conclusion the four of them had reached in the cultivation chamber. In both the Pimon civilization and the Water Blue Star civilization, the information they’d gathered highlighted one thing—internal unity. The rewards they’d received also promoted this unity.

If a civilization cannot establish a unified system within, how can it mobilize its collective strength for development? How can it face future crises in solidarity? No one wants to have to guard against internal betrayal when threatened by outsiders!

If before, Huaguo had just moved from subtly influencing the world to openly stating its intentions, now it had leapt straight to the final step.

Never underestimate the perspective of the nation’s people; they might lack clarity, but their breadth is unmatched. After beginning cultivation, the brains of those high-talented individuals became highly active, and together, their thought speed rivaled supercomputers. How could they overlook this issue?

“Really, why now of all times!” Xu Xiao pressed his brow. According to his plan, within two months Huaguo would unify humanity worldwide in earnest, and then deal with the beastkin issue. When momentum was in their favor, things would go smoothly. Yet now, with such events unfolding, even if unification was achieved, Huaguo might not have absolute leadership anymore.

Xu Xiao was absolutely right. At that moment, the European high leadership was meeting with the leaders of the Batkin and Swan clans, aiming to grant them mythic status in human society, thereby increasing their future influence in the unified government.

Things in the Americas weren’t going as well. The dominant beastkin groups—the Python and Lion clans—formed a strong alliance.

Russia and the Polar Beastkin base signed a direct contract, but remained aligned with Huaguo’s strategy.

“Contestants, let’s use the other two rewards together,” Xu Xiao suggested, shifting the topic. “We need to accelerate development. Now that the beastkin are recognized as part of Earth's civilization by the system, we certainly won’t exclude them.”

Seeing the red comment, the beastkin in the small room breathed a sigh of relief. They truly harbored awe and fear of humanity, and the recent months had made it clear that the beastkin couldn’t confront humanity head-on.

“The result is not bad, but we aren’t unified ourselves,” Uncle Turtle said slowly, taking out a communication jade slip. “Black Fox? It’s me, Old Turtle. You’ve seen the result—tomorrow, gather everyone in town. We need to set an example here! Also, bring all compiled legacy materials; this affects our future living standards!”

“All right, stop worrying. Go home, sleep, and tomorrow bring your legacy here. If anyone doesn’t show, don’t blame me for not recognizing them in the future!” Though his tone remained slow, it was filled with authority.

“Yes, Uncle Turtle!” the group responded in unison.

Elsewhere, Sun Meng nodded at the scarlet comment. “It’s best to address this early. The trials Earth will face ahead are even greater. I intend for the two races to achieve genuine peaceful coexistence.” With that, he redeemed the other two cards.

On Earth, a colorless radiance descended from the sky, landing atop the snow peaks at Huaguo’s border. This was immediately followed by a surge of spiritual energy, though this time, half the influx was restrained by the Five-Colored Earth.

Five-colored light illuminated the sky, and everywhere it touched, the soil quickly transformed. After this change, the spiritual energy took on corresponding attributes.

Unsuitable plants soon died, while those capable rapidly grew and reproduced. The spiritual energy tide now manifested in two forms: pure energy and attribute-laden energy.

Taking advantage of this, many lifeforms on Earth awakened earth-element constitutions—not pure earth, but each aligned with one of the five attributes of the Five-Colored Earth.

This was the largest mass awakening of constitutions so far, and among the beastkin, different attribute energies prompted even more varied evolutions.

The phenomenon of five-colored radiance lasted for three days. Calculations showed that, on this day alone, the altered environment covered fifty percent of Earth’s original surface. At the summit, a natural array formed, converting cosmic energy into spiritual energy and endlessly supplying the Five-Colored Earth.

“At this rate, Earth will undergo extraordinary changes!” Xu Xiao concluded quickly.

Earth was on track to transform into a continent-template world!

This meant they were drifting further from the original path of science and technology—the old laws of technology were virtually obsolete.

Yet, as Sun Meng read the audience’s bullet comments on the screen, his heart was filled with joy. Only in this way could Earth’s civilization advance ever further along the path of cultivation.
