Amidst the endless stretch of mountains, a large group of cultivators from the Azure Profound Palace blocked the entrance of a cave in an imposing display.

“This is the place...” Tabat Tao, leading the way, pointed into the depths of the cave and warned, “There are a great number of bats inside. Everyone, be cautious.”

As his words faded, Xiang Yunqian and Uncle Tie simultaneously activated their spiritual senses, carefully sweeping through the cave to assess the situation within.

In pursuit of the rare Dripping Spirit Essence, many cultivators from the Azure Profound Palace had gathered. Of the four Foundation Establishment experts currently residing in the palace, three had come in person, leaving only the saintess, Shangguan Yun, to guard the base camp.

Unfortunately, despite their efforts, they detected nothing unusual. Through their senses, they could see countless bats hanging upside down inside the cave, a sight enough to send chills down one’s spine. However, there was no trace of the Bat King.

It seemed that such a formidable demon beast was adept at concealing itself, and with the aid of the formations inside, it must have hidden deep within the cavern, thus evading their search.

“Azure Profound Palace, set up the formation!” Not a single bat had yet appeared in sight.
