First, this thing is too expensive; second, it is practically useless.
Assassination is not the same as going to war. Once an assassin is discovered, they might as well declare themselves dead.
The longest a killer in the organization survives is four years; the rest die on missions and are replaced by the next batch.
The one who reached four years only did so because he knew how to play the game, using the money earned from contracts to bribe the organization's cadres so he could take fewer jobs.
Someone like Wakaba, who takes on contracts frantically, would last at most a year before dying.
Of course, he would never say these things out loud.
The weapon is sold, he gets the money, and Wakaba takes it home to gather dust... Everyone has a bright future.
Wakaba has already stepped out of the car, pulling the luxury 3A-grade ultimate firepower combat kit from the trunk.
It was a rectangular case over a meter tall, entirely black, resembling a suitcase, with a metallic sheen on its surface.
She strapped it to her back; it was heavy, something only a physically strong adult man could carry.
However, she was a magical girl with a powerful physique, and she could use magic to greatly enhance her physical abilities, so carrying it was no effort at all.
The man in the trench coat watched Wakaba’s departing figure, somewhat surprised: "I couldn't tell the kid was that strong, to be able to carry such heavy individual demolition equipment."
He shook his head, didn't think much more of it, and started the car to leave.
Two hours later.
In the northern part of Shibukawa City, on Sanjo-cho South Road, Wakaba got out of a taxi, walked for over ten minutes, and arrived at the Sanjo-cho East intersection.
It was now one or two in the morning, and the entire East intersection was deserted.
At the end of the intersection lay a medium-sized complex. Through the main gate, one could see a plaza, parking spaces, lush green lawns, and automated patrol robots moving along established routes.
A towering building stood in the center of the complex, over two hundred meters tall, with a glass curtain wall. According to the internet, it was a comprehensive building integrating office and research functions.
Wakaba keenly noticed the electronic surveillance eyes on the perimeter wall, one every five meters, still rotating left and right.
"The surveillance eyes on the wall should be directly connected to the Security Bureau. Any sign of trouble will be reported, so I have to make this quick..."
Wakaba muttered to herself, then changed into the black camouflage suit from the luxury 3A-grade ultimate firepower combat kit. Dressed entirely in black, she covered her entire face.
She reached to the side of the case, and a spherical grenade popped out.
After gripping it, she pressed down; a slight vibration traveled through her palm, and she knew the bomb was activated.
Without hesitation, she channeled her magic, flooding her limbs with power, and threw the bomb with great force.
The bomb was much smaller than a standard grenade, roughly the size of a small egg.
But it was more than twice as heavy as a regular grenade. A human could throw it at most a hundred meters, but Wakaba was clearly not limited to that.
The two bombs traced high, precise arcs, landing exactly above the wall a hundred and fifty meters away.
*Boom—!*
Fireballs erupted on one side of the wall, blasting it into flying rubble and leaving a massive gap; the surveillance equipment above was reduced to nothing.
The shockwave from the explosion caused the leaves on the street trees dozens of meters outside the complex to rustle violently.
*Boom!*
Wakaba threw another bomb, which exploded on the other side of the wall, leveling it and successfully destroying the surveillance there.

"What's going on?"
"It's an explosion! We're under attack!"
Four security guards rushed out of the guardroom next to the main gate.
They held pistols, their tactical goggles activated, scanning the area outside the gate.
*Whizz—!*
Suddenly, they heard a sound of air being torn apart overhead. Looking up, their tactical goggles analyzed the captured image, labeling it as a "TG-40C High-Explosive Grenade," while the interface turned red and emitted a sharp alarm.
Seeing the label made their scalps go numb.
Wasn't this thing meant for blowing up load-bearing walls?
Without thinking, they dove to the ground, but it was too late.
Under Wakaba’s thrice-sublimated consciousness calculations, the grenade exploded exactly two meters above their heads.
*Boom—!*
The deafening blast shattered their eardrums instantly. Their vision was swallowed by searing red flames, and the terrifying shockwave hit them like an oncoming truck, sending them flying!
The bulletproof vests they wore creaked, and while they didn't tear, the ribs and internal organs they were meant to protect were pulverized.
But they no longer felt it, as their heads and limbs had been blown off by the explosion, scattering in all directions.
Once they landed, the four of them couldn't even form a single intact corpse.
*Swish—!*
Wakaba took a giant stride over their remains and charged toward the Anson Group headquarters building, moving so fast that to an ordinary person, she was a mere blur.
Her magic was running at full capacity; a single jump could launch her over six meters high. Now, in a full-speed straight-line sprint, even with the heavy demolition gear on her back, she reached a staggering ten meters per second.
From the garden gate to the headquarters building was about two hundred meters. As she ran, she threw high-explosive grenades all around her.
In an instant, terrifying explosions followed one after another, continuous and unrelenting.
"They didn't run when they heard the explosions, but came toward me instead... they're all enemies!" Wakaba’s consciousness was focused to the extreme.
Moving at high speed, she could hear footsteps a hundred and fifty meters ahead, identifying them as two people.
Behind the dark greenery on the right, someone was aiming a gun at her...
Without a second thought, she reached both hands to the sides of the case, grabbing a high-explosive grenade from each side.
After channeling magic into her hands, she threw them toward those two directions respectively.
The moment the grenades left her palms, the air actually exploded with a whistling shriek.
Within three seconds, two fireballs flared and vanished; the two groups she had sensed were already silent.
She didn't slow down, tossing grenades as she sprinted, drawing ever closer to the first-floor lobby of the headquarters.
During this time, she was hit by several bullets. The opponents seemed to be sharpshooters, capable of hitting her from hundreds of meters away.
And this was while she was moving at high speed.
Which meant the opponents were not only accurate but had excellent predictive aim.
However, these shots were absorbed by her black camouflage suit and her powerful magical girl physique, resulting only in faint, dull aches.

By now, the first-floor lobby had come into view.
Not only were the lobby's main doors made of glass, but the walls on both sides were as well. From the outside, the lobby was pitch black, appearing empty.
But as Wakaba approached within ten meters—
*Bang, bang, bang...!*
A dense hail of gunfire erupted. The glass walls and doors were shattered by bullets, revealing twenty-something heavily armed professional security guards inside.
They were elite personnel from the Anson Group’s security department; some were ex-military, others were former mercenaries, all of them experts with rich combat experience.
Scattered behind stone pillars in the lobby, they raised their rifles and fired frantically at the figure outside. Once their magazines were empty, they swapped them in a second and resumed firing.
A dense barrage of rifle bullets pierced the air, tearing through everything in their path and completely saturating the area where Wakaba had just been.
The gunfire lasted for a while before the lead man suddenly said, "Wait, the sound is wrong! Cease fire!"
As his voice fell, the gunfire gradually stopped.
Everyone was wearing tactical goggles with night-vision capabilities.
But the smoke and dust kicked up by the intense shooting were so thick that they couldn't see what they had actually hit.
They were only certain that when they started shooting, they had hit their target.
Under that kind of firepower, the opponent should have been turned into a sieve in an instant.
"What is that?" someone hiding behind the nearest pillar to the main door looked through his tactical goggles at the rectangular case lying dozens of meters away, his voice filled with confusion.
The surface of the case was pitted with bullet holes, yet it hadn't been shredded?
One had to realize that their recent firepower could have pulverized a wall.
*Clack, clack, clack—!*
Suddenly, the crisp sound of a hard object hitting the floor startled him.
He instinctively followed the sound and saw a pitch-black, egg-sized sphere rolling toward his feet from somewhere.
The tactical goggles on his head issued a fierce warning.
"Get down!"
The captain’s shout came from behind. He had instinctively hit the deck the moment he saw the sphere, but it was useless.
It was too close.
*Boom—!*
The violent blast dragged him two or three meters along the floor. His tactical goggles shattered, blood leaked from his seven orifices, his neck bent at an unnatural angle, and he was already lifeless.
The remaining men rose, shaken, and according to the calculations of their tactical goggles, they looked up, searching for the source of the bomb.
Immediately, they saw a black shadow moving nimbly across the ceiling, like a spider, and every time the shadow passed a pillar, it dropped a bomb...
